Hour Calculation Rules

Punch mode

Work start — arrivals before this count from here

Late threshold — arrivals after this are flagged late (full-time employees)

Late threshold — part-time employees

Midday boundary

Lunch-out cutoff — used to interpret a missing 3rd punch (4-punch mode)

Default lunch return — auto-inserted when the return punch is missing (4-punch mode)

Work end — departures before this are flagged early (full-time employees)
